“Beau’s engagements across Indonesia are supporting a whole-of-nation approach to prevention, detection, assessment, and remediation of cyber incidents essential to national and economic security,” explained U.S. Embassy Jakarta Cultural Attaché Emily Norris.

The initiative is part of the U.S. government’s support for fostering economic prosperity and democracy as a strong and secure cyber infrastructure prevents cyber-attacks that put people, networks, companies, and critical infrastructure at risk.  In partnership with other countries, the State Department is leading the U.S. government’s efforts to promote an open, interoperable, secure, and reliable information and communications infrastructure that supports international trade and commerce, strengthens international security, and fosters free expression and innovation.
