JE Technology Desk: Taiwanese smartphone maker ASUS has launched the Zenfone 10 smartphone with a compact 5.9-inch 144Hz display, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and Android 13 software. The smartphone is Asus's attempt to give users a handy flagship smartphone option.

ASUS Zenfone 10 Specifications

The Zenfone 10 sports a 5.9-inch 144Hz AMOLED screen with a peak brightness of up to 1100 nits. It is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus. Under the hood, it boasts a 4nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 CPU and Adreno 740 GPU. Speaking of memory, it ships with up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. It runs on ZenUI powered by Android 13.

As for the battery, it has a 4300mAh battery with 30W wired and 15W wireless charging support. Speaking of optics, it has a 50MP primary lens with "6-Axis Hybrid Gimbal Stabilizer 2.0" and adaptive EIS alongside a 13MP ultra-wide. On the front, it sports 32MP front lens. The main lens support 8K video recording.

Speaking of connectivity, the IP68-rated device has Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, dual nano SIM support, a 3.5mm audio jack and a USB Type-C port. For security, the handset sports a side-mounted fingerprint reader.

- Zenfone 10 (8GB + 128GB) - Rs 799 Euros (roughly Rs 71,000)

- Zenfone 10 (8GB + 256GB) - 849 Euros (around Rs 75,000)

- Zenfone 10 (16GB + 512GB) - 929 Euros (near about Rs 83,000)

It comes in three colour options: Comet White, Midnight Black, Aurora Green, Eclipse Red and Starry Blue. The device will be available for buying in Europe starting today and reach the US, UK, Canada, Singapore, Taiwan, and Hong Kong in the third quarter of 2023. The company is silent on the launch of the device in India at the moment.
