Korean surivial drama series, Squid Game has taken the world by storm, and there is now a way for you to get in on the action and play Squid Game online in multiplayer mode.
Games from the hit show have been recreated on gaming platform, Roblox and fans of the show are thrilled. There are several games from Squid Game on the platform with the most notable game being ‘Red Light, Green Light’.
How to play Squid Game online
Squid Game can be played online on Roblox and HITC have found all of the information you need to play the game on desktop.
- Visit the Roblox website and either login or sign up for an account.
- Select any game, then press the play button.
- In the pop-up window, click the ‘Download and Install Roblox’ option.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to install the Roblox Player.
- Search for ‘Squid Game’ on the Roblox website.
- Select a game, then hit the Play button.
How to play Squid Game in multiplayer mode
In Squid Game Online Multiplayer on Roblox, all players are in large open ground where you will need to race with each other to be crowned the champion.

Red Light, Green Light
When you enter the lobby, look at the timer over the top of the door in front of you which will indicate when the next game begins.
Once the timer reaches zero, you will be transported to a dark room where you will need to walk forward out into the play area.
When the light is green players can run in attempt to be in first position, but as soon as the doll indicates ‘red light’ and stops, players need to stop immediately or you will be eliminated.

To begin the ‘Fish Game’ you will need to look at the timer on the far wall which tells you how close the next game is.
Next, stand in the middle of the purple circle, and when the timer runs out you will be teleported to the play area.
Similarly to ‘Red Light, Green Light’, you need to make your way to the other side of the screen as fast as possible when the voice says ‘green light’, but stop immediately when ‘red light’ begins.

Gamers including PewDiePie are one of many who have been playing a number of different Squid Games on gaming platform Roblox.
PewDiePie was stumped when playing the ‘Honeycomb’ game which went viral on TikTok.
He said: “I am SO CONFUSED playing a child’s game!” PewDiePie seemingly could not get enough of the Roblox re-creation: “That was Squid Game. Very fun! I actually enjoyed myself.”
