Sept. 28 (UPI) -- A new type of Pokemon, known as Noble Pokemon, take center stage in the latest gameplay trailer for Pokemon Legends: Arceus.
Noble Pokemon are special, powerful Pokemon that have received a mysterious blessing and will be a key part of the game's story.
Players will encounter and battle these creatures such as Kleavor, an evolution of Scyther who appears in the clip released on Tuesday.
Players will also meet Wardens who look after the Noble Pokemon by protecting their land and offering food.
The trailer also details how players can use the Celestica Flute to summon Pokemon to ride on and how Jubilife Village will offer the ability to customize characters, take photos and use shops.
Pokemon Legends: Arceus is coming to the Nintendo Switch on Jan. 28. The game offers a vast open world and takes place in the past during a time when humans and Pokemon lived separately.
The Pokemon Company also released on Tuesday a new gameplay trailer for Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Pokemon Shining Pearl.
The footage included new details on how players will be able to let six of their Pokemon out of their Poke Balls to explore Amity Square and how players can cook treats to boost a Pokemon's stats for the beauty contest.
Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Pokemon Shining Pearl is coming to Nintendo Switch on Nov. 19. The game are remakes of Pokemon Diamond and Pokemon Pearl from 2006, when it was originally released for the Nintendo DS.
