Tom Holland posts a new tease on social media as the excitement over the Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer increases. Later this year, Holland will return for his third and perhaps final MCU solo movie with Spider-Man: No Way Home, and anticipation is already sky-high. With the Marvel multiverse now wide open, reports have indicated the Jon Watts-directed movie will bring back past Spider-Man actors like Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield. Though Marvel has done their best to debunk these rumors, Spider-Man 2 actor Alfred Molina confirmed he's in it.
Because of the idea of a massive Spider-Man reunion, demand for the first No Way Home trailer has surpassed even that of past MCU movies. Fans have been abuzz with theories about when it could arrive for months, with many once believing it would debut in June for Holland's birthday. Social media posts for other Marvel movies are often flooded with calls for the release of the Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer, and things appeared to reach a fever pitch on Sunday night when it was seemingly leaked on Twitter and TikTok. This has led many to believe the trailer release could be very, very soon.
Holland has now added fuel to the fire. Posting on his Instagram Stories following the news about the Spider-Man 3 trailer leaks, Holland merely wrote, "You ain't ready!" He didn't add any clues about what he was referring to, but there's no question it is about the long-awaited trailer. You can see Holland's post down below.
Reportedly, the first Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer will be screened during Sony's CinemaCon presentation, which takes place on Monday night. For that reason, it seems possible that the trailer will then make its way online for everyone to see. It's difficult to say for sure, particularly since all theories about the Spider-Man 3 trailer have proven to be false. Kevin Feige himself has even debunked the idea that it wouldn't receive a trailer at all.
In order to preserve the exclusiveness of showing the trailer at CinemaCon, Sony might not release it online until after the presentation. Of course, that is dependent on whether the trailer is screened at the convention, though seeing as it is a place for studios to show off their upcoming movies, it does seem likely. Spider-Man: No Way Home fans will likely be waiting on pins and needles for much of the day, and if nothing debuts within that time, they're bound to be quite disappointed. Still, with only about four months left before Spider-Man: No Way Home's release, the trailer really should be coming any day now.
