Dominic Calvert-Lewin is on Tottenham’s radar as a possible replacement for Harry Kane, according to reports.
Spurs remain optimistic over Kane with three weeks left of the transfer window, but Manchester City are set to test their resolve with an improved offer for the 28-year-old.
Daniel Levy is said to have rejected an offer of around £100million for Kane earlier in the window and reports suggest City will have to offer significantly more to persuade the Spurs chairman into selling.

City boss Pep Guardiola has confirmed that he is interested in Kane should Spurs be willing to negotiate, after City already broke the British transfer record this summer by landing Jack Grealish from Aston Villa.
“He (Kane) is a player for Tottenham Hotspur and if Tottenham don’t want to negotiate, it is finished,” Guardiola said.
“I think Man City and many clubs in the world want to try to sign him, we are not an exception, but it depends on Tottenham.
“It is different to Jack. He had the release [clause] and Jack is different. Harry is exceptional and we are interested in him but if Tottenham don’t want to negotiate, nothing more to say.”
Spurs were said to be interested in Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez, but the imminent £97.5million sale of Romelu Lukaku to Chelsea is expected to block the move as the Nerazzurri don’t want to lose both strikers in the same window.
And according to Sky Sports journalist Pete O’Rourke, Everton striker Calvert-Lewin is on Spurs’ “radar” and could be a replacement for Kane.
“I still wonder that if Kane does go, possibly a move for Dominic Calvert-Lewin at Everton,” he told The Football Terrace.
“He’s definitely on Tottenham’s radar. They see him as a potential number nine and Tottenham see him as potential replacement material.”
Calvert-Lewin scored 16 premier League goals for Everton last term and also notched four in an England shirt to secure a place in Gareth Southgate’s squad for Euro 2020.
Tottenham had also reportedly been looking at Southampton’s Danny Ings before his surprise £30million switch to Aston Villa.
