4.4 quake 5 Apr 11:41 am (GMT -5)

An earthquake of magnitude 4.4 occurred only 12 minutes ago 48 km west of Tumbes, Peru, the Institute of Geophysics of the National Polytechnic School in Quito (IGEPN) reported.
The quake hit at a very shallow depth of 9 km beneath the epicenter near Tumbes, Peru, in the morning on Monday 5 April 2021 at 11:41 am local time. The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be revised within the next few hours or minutes as seismologists review data and refine their calculations, or as other agencies issue their report.
A second report was later issued by the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC), which listed it as a magnitude 4.3 earthquake.
Based on the preliminary seismic data, the quake should not have caused any significant damage, but was probably felt by many people as light vibration in the area of the epicenter.
Weak shaking might have been felt in Zorritos (pop. 12,300) located 31 km from the epicenter, and Tumbes (pop. 109,200) 48 km away.
Other towns or cities near the epicenter where the quake might have been felt as very weak shaking include Papayal (pop. 5,500) located 67 km from the epicenter, Zarumilla (pop. 16,900) 67 km away, Aguas Verdes (pop. 9,100) 71 km away, Huaquillas (pop. 39,800) 72 km away, and La Breita (pop. 17,700) 85 km away.
