WWE Hell in a Cell 2020 updates: Reigns chooses stipulation, Banks challenges Bayley - Cageside Seats

This week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown wasn’t just about the latest WWE Draft. Indeed, the promotion also booked a few segments aimed at building to the upcoming Hell in a Cell pay-per-view (PPV) scheduled for Oct. 25, 2020, in Orlando.

One of those included Roman Reigns deciding on the stipulation for his Universal championship title defense against Jey Uso:

He’s making it the first ever Hell in a Cell I Quit match.

Meanwhile, the Bayley vs. Sasha Banks match for the SmackDown women’s title on this week’s show went to an unsatisfying — although entirely unsurprising — conclusion when Bayley retained the title despite losing via disqualification. It was used to set up Banks issuing a challenge to Bayley for a Hell in a Cell match to settle things.

The match hasn’t been made official just yet but it’s quite obviously going to happen.

The updated Hell in a Cell match card:

  • Roman Reigns (c) vs. Jey Uso (Universal championship Hell in a Cell I Quit match)
  • Drew McIntyre (c) vs. Randy Orton (WWE championship Hell in a Cell match)
  • Bayley (c) vs. Sasha Banks (SmackDown women’s championship Hell in a Cell match)
