Moderate, but deep earthquake of magnitude 5.0 reported in Indonesia

A magnitude 5.0 earthquake 41 minutes ago was reported by Indonesia's Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysical Agency (BMKG), considered the main national agency that monitors seismic activity in Indonesia. The earthquake occurred at great depth of 361 km (224 mi) beneath the epicenter given as 149 Km N Of Baukau, Timor Leste on 19 Oct 11:11 pm (GMT +9) local time. Magnitude and other quake parameters can still change within the next hours as the agency continues to process the seismic data.Our monitoring service at VolcanoDiscovery also identified a second report from the USGS agency which listed the quake at magnitude 5.2. Other agencies reporting the same quake include GeoAu (magnitude 5.2), GFZ (magnitude 5.0), EMSC (magnitude 5.2).
