Gilas Pilipinas Men will be heading into its second matchup against Thailand in the second window of the 2021 FIBA Asia Cup Qualifiers on Monday with a slight change to its lineup.
Forwards Mike Nieto and Will Navarro will be subbed out of the initial 12-man roster and will be replaced by Jaydee Tungcab and Calvin Oftana.
Retaining their spots are Justine Baltazar, Kenmark Cariño, Isaac Go, Javi and Juan Gomez de Liaño, Dave Ildefonso, Matt Nieto, Kobe Paras, Dwight Ramos, and Rey Suerte.
The all-cadet Filipino squad manhandled the all-pro Thais, 93-61, on Friday and were led by Ramos' perfect 20-point outing. Thailand was also beaten by Indonesia, 90-76, on Saturday.
The second face-off between Gilas and Thailand will tip off on Monday evening at 9 p.m. and will be aired on One Sports.
